SUMMARY
On Monday, February 27, a reception was held at the Residence of France in Washington, D.C. in honor of the French Minister of Public Accounts, Gabriel Attal, at the invitation of Chargée d'Affaires Aurélie Bonal.
The Minister just concluded a visit of several days to the United States with the aim of strengthening Franco-American customs cooperation and transatlantic "transfer of information," particularly in the areas of risk analysis and targeting, and tax fraud.
Minister Attal expressed his wish for an intensified cooperation between his services and the American ones in order to better fight against all frauds.
During the reception, the Minister and his delegation met with members of the French Parliament, representatives of U.S. law enforcement agencies (DHS, CBP, HSI, IRS, ATF...), think tankers and the French community.
